Phil Langhorst is a motor control expert, consulting on and engineering AC/DC variable frequency drives, with a focus on mil-spec requirements. After leading the motor control design and engineering departments for multiple motor manufacturing companies, such as Emerson Electric and Magnetek, Phil founded Invention House in 2000 to independently pursue his electrical engineering passions.
His specialty is energy-related devices: motor controls, solar energy, wind power, and efficient HVAC. Phil has designed and built power converters as small as 2 watts and as large as 200 Kilowatts.
